northeastern France - this is where our company is named after, and this where happiness begins...

History

In mid 1950s, founder Mr.Takei Kimoto has started his family-owned company as Japanese candy manufacturer in Tokyo.
After nearly 30years, on 1984, his son and our current president,
Mr. Kouichirou Kimoto has established 'Domremy' as Western fresh dessert manufacturer. And it didn't take time until
his passion for desserts spread to both employees and customers.
On year 2000, current main factory - Haruna factory was built. Then on 2013, Okayama factory was into operation
aimed to expand our fresh distribution to Western Japan.
In 2014, we took over Tabigarasu, Japanese traditional confectionery maker. Which allowing us to develop new western
dessert using Japanese ingredients.
2017 was another turning point, opening up our first overseas factory in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia. At the same time,
we have started our shipments to overseas market.
On 2019, FSSC22000 certification was accredited which is necessary for expansion of export business.
